Message	his words regarding the pulley were worthless because he didnt have a single thing to do with producing it. He bought one of bernies and sent it to china. End of story. (That applies to 2.0 as well) Russel has at least addressed the issue, and I'm sure if you tracked him down @ ZCon and said "Look, this is causing a problem" he'd have 5 guys working to fix it.
